WORK GROUPS

Four work groups have been charged with helping to shape Cornell’s future-state operating models. Members were selected for their subject matter expertise and their ability to represent key perspectives from across the university to reimagine how we work — ensuring that our operating models support Cornell’s mission of teaching, research, and service.

Each work group is charged with assessing current operating models, evaluating future-state options, and shaping actionable plans for organizational redesign. Recommendations from the work groups will help guide leadership decisions about reporting structures and funding models with a focus on collaboration and shared success to help ensure that Cornell’s operating model is efficient, sustainable, and aligned with the institution’s mission.
